The new drinking water treatment plant in l’Escala enters the final stage of construction

The president of the Girona Provincial Council and of the Costa Brava Girona Water Consortium, Miquel Noguer, together with the mayor of l’Escala, Josep Bofill, visited the construction works of the municipality’s new drinking water treatment plant, which are now at a very advanced stage of execution.

The future Drinking Water Treatment Plant (DWTP) will ensure both water supply and water quality, with a treatment capacity of up to 14,000 m³/day. According to the established timetable, the Consortium is expected to assume management of the high-level water supply service.
